We started the month of July off with a trip to Arnold for Zane and Jess to spend time with Zac, Jen, Keanan and Kyla. We had beautiful weather and did lots of mountain biking each day and some swimming at Alpine Lake and the Stanislaus River.

I was able to spend a week with my parents in Arizona during July. It was HOT!! It was a great visit and I got to finish a baby blanket that I was working on and help my Mom finish her quilt.

Casey and Zane did the bike jump into the pond this summer. It was Zane's first time going off the jump and he did great.

July also saw Zane headed to camp for the very first time. At the beginning of the month he went for a short 2 night stay and at the end of the month he went for a full week. He had fun with his friend Sawyer and his counselor Shiloh. At the end of his full week, his cabin won Hartland Champion shirts for being the team that had the most points at the end of the week. They earn points for cabin clean up, games and the most points from learning their memory verses.
