We have been thinking and planning this trip for over a year. We hit multiple National Parks, State Parks, The Gulf of Mexico and other fun places along the way. Enjoy the pictures.
First stop was Saguaro National Park East, in Arizona.

Next we met up with Casey's sister, Laura and family and his Mom in New Mexico. We started with exploring the Gila Cliff Dwellings National Monument.

The next day we stopped for a quick visit to City of Rocks State Park. What an amazing place for the kids to climb all over the rocks.

Next stop was White Sands National Park. The cousins brought a bunch of sleds. Much fun was had by all sledding and playing in the dunes.

At this point, Laura and family headed north and we continued on with Grandma to Guadalupe Mountains National Park. We did a hike to Smith Springs. The weather was quite crazy for our hike, beautiful sunshine to snow multiple times.

The next day was spent at Carlsbad Caverns. We did the steep hike down the Natural Entrance and then the loops down below.

After Carlsbad, Charm headed towards home and we continued south into Texas. Part 2 of the big trip will be posted soon.
