Field Trips, Jiu Jitsu, Zoo and fun with family and friends

We started the month of November off with a few field trips; one to the Planetarium and the other to Lake Success.  At Lake Success we had a great ranger talk about the area and ecosystems and Zane got to dissect owl pellets.

Zane has continued with Jiu Jitsu.  He is enjoying learning new moves and wrestling with new and old friends.

We got to spend the day at the zoo.  It was gorgeous weather and most of the animals were out.

Three days later Zane and I ended up back at the zoo for zoo lights.

he even volunteered to do a picture with Santa

After the zoo lights we headed over to the California State Marching Band Championships to watch his cousins, Keanan and Kyla compete.  Their team won the competition!!

For Thanksgiving my friend Cori came for a visit.  We had a great time together checking out the Sequioa and Kings Canyon National Park and bike riding.

We even found some good bear tracks on one of our mountain bike rides

That wraps up the month of November.  We are excited for next months adventures.
