The month of July was spent hanging around Hartland. We had multiple weeks of kids camp and it was good to see campers back at Hartland. We spent many hours in the pool this summer. Zane is starting to learn how to swim. Here's some high lights of other fun things we did.
We spent an evening hanging out with the summer staff doing the bike jump and playing in the mud pit. Zane has been bugging us all summer about playing in the mud pit, what a better time to do it when you have a bunch of people to play in it with you.

A few times this summer we borrowed some kayaks from the Johnson family. Zane is getting better at steering himself around the pond.
I finally got my Cascades T-shirt quilt finished. The quilt contains t-shirts from over 16 years at Cascades. It is king size and front and back. It should keep us really warm this winter.

Zane finally got to do his first VBS this year at our church. The theme was Treasured. It was a long week going down to the valley everyday but he had a great time going with some of his friends from Hartland.
It was a jungle treasure hunt theme
The rest of the month was spent swimming and playing with friends almost everyday.
