We attended two Hike it Baby hikes in the area. One at the Woodlake Botanical Gardens and the other at Dry Creek Preserve. It's fun getting out and exploring more of the trails in our area.

In Royal Rangers the camp kids have been learning about gun safety. At the end of their gun safety, Zane earned his badge by answering all the questions. On a nice sunny day we headed up to the gun range and Zane got to shoot a gun.
On Casey's last day off he wanted to go for a ride on his mountain bike. We took him up as far as we could go before a tree blocked the road. We had taken Zane's bike with for him to ride a small section of the road with Casey. Zane ended up riding all 6 miles of dirt and pavement. The majority was downhill but there were some pretty good uphill parts and Zane never gave up. He is becoming quite the bike rider. He can't wait to hit the real trails with Pops.
Still smiling after the ride
We have been having some great sunny weather the last few days, my daffodils have finally pushed through the dirt, but we are expected to get a few inches of snow this weekend.
